End Of Another Term. ▲

Heyyyy.
It's the end of term3 of the 2013 academic year. :)
Well, what a term haha!

We got back our report books and I was surprised and happy with my grades reflected in my report book!
Honestly, I didnt put in as much effort for CT2 as I did for MYE, but I was contented with the grades. :)

English - B3
Chinese - C6
Additional Maths - A1
Maths - B4
Combine Science ( Physics + Chemistry ) - B3
Combine Humanes ( Geography + SS ) - A1
D&T - A1

Chinese was the only subject that I had totally lost hope in. I had always done well in Chinese, I loved chinese but the recent papers just had been putting me down. Right now, Chinese has dropped from an A1 to a staggering C6. I gave up on chinese. im sorry. :(

But for maths, I did amazingly well for the papers! Scoring A1 for both E & Amaths! I passed my AMaths paper for the first time in my life and I scored A1! Tears of joy laaaa. For the first time, A1 was reflected beside AMaths in my report book! Emaths was a B4, purely because I didnt do my assignments so yea, it affected it a little haha.

Combine Humanes & D&T held strong at A1s. I had been getting A1s for these subjects for the longest time. Hopefully they continue to maintain at A1s all the way till I take my Olevels next year :)

Overall, im contented ;)

Today is also appreciation day in edgefield sec. A typical teacher's day in a typical secondary school .
We had Aces day in the morning which was the same practice that we have been doing for the past 3 years here in Edgefield, Taekwondo. (( btw, i achieved my brown belt quite recently hehe. )) So Aces day went well. Then we had normal lessons for 3 periods and it was off for recess before the celebration.

The performance was amazing. My sister was awarded the Role Model award for her awesome behaviour in school. :) Proud of her :) Then we had a class party. 3EV invited Mr Chang and Mrs Tee to join us. The best class has to have the best teachers at the party with us right? ;) With 4 tables loaded with food and music blasting loudly in the background, our class had fun today :)

Putting all these aside, I didn't forget my favourite D&T teacher that left Edgefield a few months ago.
I wrote him a sweet teacher's day message :

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY.
(( well, in advance though ))
hehe, i know you left efss already but you'll forever be my favourite teacher!

Before you taught 3EV, i hated d&t. I didnt put in any effort. i wanted a border line pass and thats it. I dreaded the long d&t periods. I never studied for any test. And i always hated practical. I never liked mdm cheng cause she went so fast and i saw myself as a weaker student and i eventually gave up on the chase to catch up.

And then you came to our class. tbh, i was thinking that you were just another teacher that taught boring d&t. like i hated d&t haha.

After the first consultation with you, I saw d&T in a different perspective like it was rather fun. After so many consultations i caught up and I had fun in d&t. You are just one of those teachers that totally changed how I view a subject. I guess all my high grades and my recent 90% in my CA2 is thanks to you.

Dont you see why I didnt want you to leave? haha. hope you have a great teaching life in the other school! Dont miss me too much!

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY, MR WANG

SWEET RIGHT!
I know luhhh haha! But mr wang replied with a grateful : 'Thank you Clara. I am very happy to have taught you before. Keep up the good attitude and persevere when things do not go well. Because that is what I did. Good job and all the best. :)' And he even dedicated a facebook post to me on his wall awhhhh.

So all in all,

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY :)
