well, i finally found the time to blog a little amidst my busy schedule this term.
Recently, I just returned back to school after the annual June break, which I had to forego almost complete this year. In my opinion, D&T must be the most hardworking and tedious subject there is to take. Not only is it time consuming and dangerous, it involves a combination of sciences and maths and more. One good thing, however, that comes out of all the long hours in the workshop and the frequent night stays in school to complete our journals, were the friendships and bonds that were forge and made stronger. No doubt, i made 2 new friends throughout the course of the june holidays purely through attending workshop sessions almost everyday. And im sure my friendships with all those in my class and out of my class who took the same subject has became stronger.
Oh and haha did i mention that I got my report card for Prelim2 and I topped the cohort for D&T? It was rather exciting, especially when I had studied extremely hard this time round for D&T. A let down would be the fact that Mdm Cheng kept emphasising on how it was all because i was lucky and nothing else. I guess it may be it?
Oh also, out of the busy schedule I had during the june holidays, I had 2 days free to go out and actually have fun. Let me elaborate.
Firstly, I went out with Cheryl, Qistina and Vivian for a day of shopping. We actually didn't buy much haha but it sure was alot of fun! And it was actually the first time we all went together as a group so it was rather exciting as well.
Oh haha and it was the first time I wore a skirt out with my friends. don't judge like i'm more of a tomboy okay. I think this trip made all of us closer, especially, in my opinion, when Vivian and I, and Cheryl and Qistina were two pairs of totally different people. It was nice to find a day to relax and unwind with a group of good friends, laughter and endless walking and talking.
Another day, which was probably the highlight of June, was 4Everest's class BBQ.
The night before, Vivian, Xueying and I invited Hongshen and ChunMun at the last minute to watch 'the fault in our stars' the next day before the class BBQ. The boys were happy to join us.
The next day, Vivian, Hongshen and I met at Punggol to train to Sengkang to meet Chunmun before finally meeting Xueying at Junction8 for the movie. JingYing also self-invited himself to join us and so the six of us watched the movie. It wasn't as fantastic as everyone deemed it be, so it was quite a disappointment. But then we walked around a little and made our way to the BBQ where the actual fun began.
The evening was young, all of us slowly gathered at the pit. Of course, 4Everest had to take countless selfies and class selfies. So as the food cooked, we talked and played.
As night fell, the class played 'catching' the ever popular game that we played in primary school. I, however, did not participate. I sat at the top of the slide with Vivian and Chunmun before a China elderly man approached us with a list of questions which I could not comprehend given his heavy accent. Luckily, Vivian was there to entertain him while Chun mun and I just sat at the side chatting. Of course occasionally the two of us replied some of the man's questions and listened somehow attentively to his intriguing stories from China, but most of the time, Vivian did the talking while the two of us sat there clueless.
Then at around 10pm, we all dispersed after a night of fun. 4Everest never fails to throw utterly awesome class bonding outings and events. It's hard to think about the fact that we'll be separating soon.
Even more recently, I took my Chinese Olevel Oral. In fact I took it yesterday.
I was close to the last in my group to take the examination and I was a nervous wreck. I went into the room, shaking. I started reading the passage, half stuttering. To make matters worst, I was tripping over words and reading everything wrong. The picture discussion and conversation were fine in comparison but I muttered an english word as I forgot the chinese translation. I left the room, badly shaken and the thought of passing it never crossed my mind.
What's worse was the fact that I probably screwed up my Chinese Olevel papers. In fact, up till now, I think the only component I did well for my chinese Olevels so far would be the composition portion. Other than that, I can forget about my A.
Enough about sad stuff omg. Now on to the fact that today's my sweet sixteen.
thank you to all those who wished me a happy birthday and those who gave me adorable gifts today!
I greatly appreciate the love and affection shown!

I guess that's it for now!
