hi there!
Edgefield secondary held it's first ever prom night for the pioneer batch of year 4s on 20/11/14.
It really was a magical night! from the preparation before the actual prom, the dinner, after the event.. everything was so amazing and i really want a repeat of prom night!
Before prom starts at about 7:30pm, we all met at vivian's house to prepare for prom. (by 'we' meant xueying, suffira, jingying and i) So we met at about 2+ and we started slacking around while vivian started vlogging for no apparent reason HAHA. then after slacking for a few hours, we finally started prepping at about 4:30pm. Jingying was already dressed so he sat around while us, girls, started with our makeup and such. It was actually fun putting on makeup with the girls in front of vivian's hugeass mirror! All of us were fooling around, making a mess and losing our things too frequently! after that, xueying and vivian went to do their hair while suffira and i just walked around haha. So by 7pm, all of us were dressed and ready to go and vivian was PUMPED. her dad picked us up and vivian continuously shouted at random inanimate objects that we were going to prom omg //laugh till cry emoji//

So we reached Grand Park City Hall Hotel at 7:30pm on the dot. When we got there, we were greeted by mr evan toh, the photographer of the night haha.
he was taking photos of everyone who were entering so he snapped a photo of the girls together and omg do we look fab. HAHA. So the guy behind the camera must have his moment right? So i took a photo with him cause my fav physics teacher guys
So after all that, we went in and sat down for dinner where they crowned the prom king & queen as the night progressed! Sarah & JingAn got crowned the prom king & queen and rightly so for Sarah because she was looking amazing last night! They also showed a montage of our years in edgefield and omg it was so touching haha. i'll definitely miss everyone.
The best part of prom is definitely the photo taking sessions after the whole thing ended.

from the first day of school, the first assembly talk, we became friends. i dont think we ever fought and that's amazing considering how long we've been friends. its fate that brought us together and fate that kept us together in the same class for all 4years. thank you for being someone that brought joy to my life from the very first day we entered edgefield. i know this isnt goodbye because we've gone through too many separations to know that we will always come back together. stay pretty and cheerful! :)

thank you 4everest for being an amazing class filled with weird and exciting people that never fails to make our lesson times fun! im so thankful to be surrounded by all these eccentric personalities over the last two years of my life. we're so bonded and close that im sure we'll definitely have many more class events in the future. thank you to mdm cheng & mr evan toh for being the best form teachers the world has ever seen. thank you everyone for making this the most memorable year of my life!
they say the friends you make in secondary school are friends you have for life, and i'll be damn sure that these are the friends i want to keep for the rest of my life.
