Holidays! ▲

Hello!

Semester 1 of Year 1 is finally over! Took my last paper yesterday and gosh the feeling of that huge burden being lifted off my shoulders is just so great!

Didn't have time to blog during term 2 because it was just so busy! I love the stress & the adrenaline rush that comes with having so many projects and exams to juggle. With all my baby problems, the stress really helped me get my priorities right and my mind clear. So I guess here's an update of my life? hehe.

So our class had a class chalet (+matin's birthday celebration) during the holidays before school started! Actually I had alot of activities before the start of term 2. So the first one was a class chalet. It was a 2D1N chalet with the most amazing group of people in the world. 3am heart to heart talks by the sea, tonning for the entire night, playing in the pool at 5am in the morning and chasing the sunrise at 6am. It was a really great experience and great bonding with my class.

On top of our amazing class chalet, our entire batch of Year1s went to show our love to the elderly at dignity kitchen. We got to sing and dance and entertained the adorable aunties and uncles that day! Anything with 02 is great fun, even CIP! Felt so good to spend our class bonding fund on a good cause!

With all the class events, a group of us attended YES (Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium '15) during the holidays at NUS (National University of Singapore). It was a 3 day workshop which taught us more about starting up a business etc. Also, we had a chance to put together our own business plan and present it to a group of legit investors.

Geraldine, Wenchee, Kitty & Matin made YES so much more bearable because it was really really tiring to travel to NUS everyday, early in the morning till late at night for classes. It was so funny because we went into it thinking to have fun and not planning to be serious when it came to pitching business ideas but the night before, we came together and put together STUDIFY, our business project. Everyone loved our idea when we pitched it but we didnt get through because of our breakeven point. But thank you guys for an enriching experience!!!!

When term 2 started, projects started rolling in nonstop. Project groups were formed for MOB, DBE, ITB and GenEd. Through all these projects I learnt more about my classmates, groupmates as well as about myself. I never knew I was someone who loves to lead a group of people (dk how well i lead though) because i always thought I was someone who slacks and doesnt care about projects. I think I learnt alot about deadlines and how I view such deadlines. Also, I learnt so much more about my groupmates and classmates. It's so true that projects make or break your friendships because it's all about teamwork. If you aint got no teamwork, you're gonna ruffle some feathers.

DBE GROUP - EYERON MAN
Thanks guys, loved the chemistry in this group! Our presentation went great! We pulled through although we had so many unproductive moments while working together! Thanks for making DBE such a fun module even though projectwork for DBE is so complicated hehehehehe.

MOB GROUP
Ya'll saw the not-so-sane side of me because MOB really got to me and we pulled through even though we had one of the most conflicts as a group in class. Our presentation was great and I think our report was even better! Thanks for making MOB tolerable and helping me along because i pretty much suck at MOB theory haha

ITB GROUP - KANNAC
SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS GROUP and im so thankful that we still kannac-ting today. We went to the next level to make our company shirts which made patrick phang so shocked on the day of our amazing presentation. Stay amazing and really would love to work with you guys again!

People that kept me sane during project period ;

Wenchee & Kristzann!
Ya'll keep smiling because ya'll are amazing ;)

KITTY
Keeping me sane from projects to EST you the best and i love you.

& nicholas, geraldine too! keeping me sane in gen ed and mob (2 of my worst projects HAHA)

Not forgetting CIP at bayfront for #SGEATWITHUS with the cool kids of 02.
It was so fun serving with such amazing people for our nation's big birthday. Selling drinks was not an easy feat but we pulled through! Thank you for the company and I would do it all over again with you guys!

Tommy, Nicholas, Hannah, WenChee, Kristzann, Geraldine.

Amongst the crazy stress from the overwhelming workload, our class still had time to come together as a class to have fun. We took an afternoon off after school one day just to spend some time together at Jcube. We ended up having lunch together, to playing catching in jcube (yes we are 17&18 but), to bingsu together to old school camp games. So much love for this class and we're so bonded I dont know what to do.

bingsu!!

And my class celebrated my birthday this year (11/07) and omg I can't say how thankful I am for all the celebrations I had. I had 5 cakes over the course of 3 days yet I couldnt eat any because I was sick. Thank you to 02 for surprising me on my birthday, to carina and gang for surprising me at TP during my conference and thank you to Wenchee and the rest of my friends at CHC for surprising me after service that day! Really feeling so blessed this year, really had a memorable 17 birthday.

Nicholas, Carina, WenChee, Tash, MingJie.

02!!!!

I guess that's it for my blogpost? but i just wanna end my blogpost with just saying how thankful I am for 02. When tough times come, I find strength in my class.

Thank you 02.
I feel blessed everyday when I see your smiles.
Keep smiling.
