hello there!
i havent updated this space of mine for awhile now and believe me, i've been wanting to update but i havent got the time to do so! too much has been happening these past 2 weeks! The first week of April was a really eventful and pretty tiring week for me as i had activities planned everyday through monday to sunday. I decided to spend my last week before i had to go to school with my friends, just catching up and doing the things i loved doing.
on tuesday, i went out with my zalora friends once more (because i can never get too tired of them heh). i met kai, weixuan, elisca, joel, jeremy, nicholas and nad at tampines mall for lunch before taking a bus to tampines safra where we spent the rest of the afternoon till evening there! i played pool for the first time ever and i still dont get how the game goes. we played pool for about 2hours(?) before we went bowling. we didnt take alot of pictures (except annoying paparazi shots of each other) I had so much fun just catching up with the cool kids before joel, jeremy, kai and i went on to catch a bus towards changi airport. We met up with dean and waited for Jean, who we were sending off to japan that night, at astons. We had one of the best chats i've had in a really long time and im really thankful for these amazing friends haha. we had dinner before sending jean and min zhuang off to japan. I had to take a really really late bus back home that night but tHANKS GUYS FOR AN AWESOME DAY. (and also, for all the tips on surviving poly heh u guys are the best)
#squadgoals.

after an obviously tiring day, i had to wake up early the next day where i taught cm and delvin piano for the next two days. it was surprisingly fun and entertaining even though i was slacking so much while the two of them racked their brains away at the tedious and foreign symbols known as musical notes. after the two days, it really hit me because cm and i arent gonna see each other as often as we used to (or want to) any more :( good luck in nyp, bro!
well, here comes the best part of my last week before poly!
i went to SP's student union's freshmen orientation weekend activity! it was a 2 day 1 night camp with the most amazing people ever! i was introduced to a group called HONO, it means fire because we hot as hell.
#HONO
we had the best FL's aka our daddy and mummy! and i was really happy too, because both of them are in business school (mummy's in the same course as me!) Tess and Eugene (Tsukiko & Hiroharu) were amazing and they really took care of us throughout the camp! the rest of hono were cute and cool as well! i really enjoyed FOWA and it was such a great start to my poly life!

THANK YOU HONO FOR THE AMAZING CAMP!
love all of you!! see you guys around campus heh!
when we officially went into the DBID studio, it was so cool to meet everyone and everyone was extremely nice! including the seniors! we had so many bonding games but i wont go into details here! i really had alot of fun the past week with my new friends! maybe its because the enrolment for the course was really small, but it felt like we were all family after 2 days.
oh and i met my class too! DBID02 has the coolest people ever! just look at us haha.
i really cant wait to start classes with them and of course, 01 people are just as cool and no matter what, we're still one big family eh? ;)
on thursday, we went on SP's annual flagday.
our course was chosen to represent SB for flagoff, it was especially torturous for me because i had to reach school by 7:30am and it takes me close to 2hours to get to school. i had to wake up extremely early that day just to get to school on time haha. despite the boring name it was attached to, flagday turned out quite fun!
i was with kitty, joey, geraldine, tiffany and xiaoqi. we were stationed at kent ridge but we saw no opportunities to get any donations there so we took a train down to chinatown where we had better luck! under the hot sun, we met many students from other schools and other courses. flagday helped me make more friends from other courses and schools and we had so much fun just walking around, chatting.

all in all, i had a really fulfilling and fun orientation week with the craziest people :)
thank you to SP for helping us, freshies, get comfortable with our coursemates in such a great way! from camps to orientation to flagday, i dont think i'd had such a great connection with my coursemates if not for all the tedious planning that went into everything we went through these past weeks!

cant wait to officially start the academic term with you guys!
